I do think new video technology adds to the actual gameplay. When I see better video technology, I feel like the game seems more realistic, so the game is more eye-catching. The advanced graphics make the game more visually appealing. For some games, the graphics could make the actual game more fun to play.
Although new video technology can make a game seem more appealing, the actual game itself is what makes it the most fun. Newer games with more advanced graphics are fun, but I will always love the older video games the most even though their graphics are not advanced at all. It might be just because the older games take me back to my younger days, but I feel as if the older video games will always be my favorite.
I thought this video was pretty entertaining. Apparently this guy expected his boss to be back later than he was from his flight, so he messed around with all of the stuff in his office. The commercial is implying that this airline is much more on time than other airlines are. The video kept my attention the whole time because I was waiting for his boss to walk in the room. I thought this was a pretty entertaining commercial, and I liked that it was super short too, so I didn’t have to wait a long time to see what happens.
I thought this video was pretty entertaining. It starts off looking like it would be a completely real video. When the can starts spraying at full blast and doesn’t stop, you realize that the video is not real at all. The ad made me laugh, because I though it was so stupid, but funny at the same time. I’m still not sure what type of beverage Tetleys is because I couldn’t understand what the guy said at the beginning of the video, but I am guessing it is some sort of soda.
For me, videos like this catch my attention much more than traditional commercials. I think it is because they look like they are home-made videos, so I feel like the ad will be more realistic for some reason. Obviously, that wasn’t the case with this commercial, but it still caught my attention better than a regular commercial would.
I thought this video was very humorous. I had absolutely no idea what this ad was for throughout the entire video until the very end. I thought this ad was very entertaining. At the end it shows a can of Lift Plus and suggests that it will help make you wiser. I didn’t know what Life Plus was, so I looked it up. Apparently, it is an energy drink made by the Coca-Cola Company. I have never heard of Lift Plus, which seems weird because Coca-Cola is such a big brand, but I thought this viral ad was entertaining.
The Social Network ended up being very different from what I expected it to be. It was a bit depressing in some ways because of the main character. They made Mark Zuckerberg look like a very easily persuaded person. Zuckerberg is a very socially inept person in this movie. I think that Zuckerberg was so obsessed with the social experience because he didn’t know how to have one. When someone can’t have something, it usually makes them want it more.
I think that not having these social experiences drew Zuckerberg to making websites like Facesmach, The Facebook, and Facebook. Since Zuckerberg couldn’t connect to the real world, we wanted to find a way to have a social experience with people. Since he knew so much about the internet and websites, I’m sure making a social website was the first thing he thought of doing to solve this problem.
I feel as if there are many people like Mark Zuckerberg in the present that lack social skills in the real world, but turn to the internet to have social experiences. Maybe it is because now there are so many social networks to interact that people feel as if they don’t need to connect to others in the real world, or maybe there are just other people out there who don’t have real world social skills just like Zuckerberg. I feel as if people are losing touch in the real world and that social networks are taking over the social experience. It is almost as if Zuckerberg changed the whole social experience by not being able to socially interact in the real world. This reminds me of the saying, “if you don’t like something, change it”.
So I randomly stumbled upon these viral ads on YouTube. I saw the first one and didn’t really understand what it was about, so I went to the profile of jamadz and still didn’t quite understand what it was about. Apparently these ads were done for Centennial College for their Interactive Media Design program which I found kind of interesting. I still don’t really understand the point of these ads though. I have watched all three of them and still don’t understand what their point is that they are trying to get across…
This video is an advertisement for McDonald’s From Japan. This video seems to be very serious. It has a guy dressed up like Ronald McDonald, but in a very serious and stylish way. He then pulls a burger out from behind him.
It seems like they were going for a serious and stylish commercial, but I thought it was very humorous. I can’t tell if the commercial was really supposed to be serious, or if it was supposed to be humorous because of how serious it seemed. I just can’t see a commercial like this for McDonald’s because it is a fast food restaurant, not a stylish brand.
